SINGER ARRESTED: The lead singer of the rock band Lit was charged with indecent exposure after authorities said he dropped his pants and ran around stage at a concert. A. Jay Popoff was charged after the group's Wednesday night concert on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mr. Popoff, 26, was released from the Mecklenburg County Jail after posting $500 bail. He is scheduled to return to court Nov. 22. Lit was near the end of its final song when the lewd act occurred before 3,500 fans, audience members and campus officials said. University police caught up with Mr. Popoff after he got off stage, a school spokesman said. Lit - whose second album, A Place in the Sun , has sold more than 500,000 copies - was opening for the group Garbage as part of MTV's nationwide Campus Invasion Tour. Lit and Garbage are scheduled to play Tuesday at Starplex in Dallas.
